It’s been a long time coming… The long awaited second Black Connection show is finally here ! It has been EXACTLY a year since the last show was uploaded, so welcome again. This new show turns the spotlight on some summertime chillout vibes, from Cuban and Jamaican jazz-funk tunes (Cedric ‘Im’ Brooks), to African funky joints (Lafayette Afro-Rock Band and Ify Jery Crusade), Spanish contemporary funk and even a groovy gem from some 70’s porn movie by Bernard Prudie. The show takes you down the memory lane and its fortune vibes through a set featuring lots of mid-90 hiphop gems by Siah, Organized Konfusion, Society, Channel Live & KRS-One, K-Solo. Plus new heat from Termanology, Black Milk, Elzhi, AZ, Large Pro and Styles P. This come-back starts slowly, with a mainly laid-back set, whereas the next one is gonna be harsher.

Black Connection is a regular radio show mainly focusing on funk and hiphop music, with the idea to encompass all types of black music (from hiphop and funk to jazz, bossa nova, latin and everything in between). Turn it up, we spread funk, hiphop and jazz music all over the world. Word!

The first Black Connection show is an introducing show with some classic hiphop and funk joints (The Gaturs, The Trinikas, Curtis Mayfield, Gil-Scott Heron, Black Moon, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Smif-N-Wessun, A Tribe Called Quest) but also accompanied by some underrated contemporary hiphop French artists (Kwamé, The Jazz Liberatorz), sunny funky tunes (Joe Torres, Orgone, Pete King, Nombres), dope vibes from '07 (Marco Polo, Saigon, Black Milk) and some laid back tracks (Kenn Starr, Bush Babees).
